GED Online is Missouri's internet-based classroom for students looking for the flexibility of at-home study. Sponsored by the Department of Elementary and Secondary Education (DESE), GED Online provides the opportunity for students who can't regularly attend GED classes to do the majority of their studying online.
In order to participate in GED Online, you must be a Missouri resident and be able to go to an onsite class to take the assessment
test and go back to the site every 90 days for post-testing.

Literacy, GED, and English as a Second Language (ESL) classes are offered throughout the state through Adult Education and Literacy programs. Classes are offered at various times and locations throughout the state of Missouri. If you decide to go to a class, you will receive one-on-one help from instructors and access to GED resources such as assessment tests, books, and practice tests.
